Persimmon Chocolate Dessert

This persimmon no-bake dessert is vegan, gluten free and only requires two ingredients: persimmons and cocoa powder. This makes the perfect dessert for busy or lazy cooks and a great way to get kids to eat more fruits. This recipe works best with ripe persimmons.

3 Persimmon

3 tbsp Cocoa powder


  1. Peel and cut the persimmons into quarters.
  2. Add to a food processor along with the cocoa powder. Blend until smooth and creamy. Give the mixture a taste, feel free to add sugar to taste. 
  3. Pour into 4 ramekins and place in the fridge to set for at least an hour. 
  4. To serve invert into plates and enjoy!
