Oddbox x Pip & Nut: Roasted Plum & Apple Porridge

This incredibly simple porridge creates the ideal warming breakfast, featuring air-fried plums and apples, topped with a generous drizzle of Pip & Nut Peanut Butter.

Ingredients:

100 g Jumbo Oats

500 ml Water

a pinch of Salt

2 medium Plums

1 medium Apple

a splash of Milk of choice

a pinch of Ground nutmeg 

a pinch of Ground cinnamon

a splash of Maple syrup

Chia seeds

Pip & Nut Peanut Butter

Recipe:

  1. Chop up your plums and apple into segments.
  2. Season with cinnamon, nutmeg and a good drizzle of maple syrup.
  3. Pop the fruit into the air fryer for 12 minutes.
  4. Onto the porridge; pour 500ml of water into the oats and slowly bring to the boil.
  5. Let this simmer for around 8 minutes and add a splash of your milk of choice to cream the porridge up.
  6. Serve up, making sure to drizzle the caramelised fruit juices onto the creamy porridge.
  7. Top with lots of Pip & Nut peanut butter, more maple syrup and chia seeds for an extra crunch!
