Total time: 10 minutes
Servings:
Ingredients:
2 oranges (roughly chopped)
2 Bananas (frozen and chopped into chunks)
carrot (roughly chopped)
4 cm ginger (peeled and sliced)
1 cup Liquid (water, coconut water, or oat milk)
2 UNROOTED Good Fibre Baobab Powder Sachets
a pinch of Turmeric (optional)
a pinch of black pepper (optional)
Recipe:
Pour your chosen liquid (water, coconut water or oat milk) into the blender first – this helps everything blend into a silky-smooth, creamy texture.
Add the juicy orange chunks, crunchy carrots, fresh ginger slices and UNROOTED baobab sachets. For a unique twist, add a pinch of turmeric and a crack of black pepper.
Top with the frozen banana chunks to give your smoothie a thick, velvety texture and a naturally sweet finish.
Blend on a low speed first to break down the carrots, then turn it up high for 45–60 seconds until your smoothie is completely smooth and vibrant.
If your blender needs a little help, just add an extra splash of liquid (1–2 tablespoons at a time) until everything is whizzing happily.
Pour into glasses and enjoy straight away while it’s fresh, creamy and full of flavour. For an extra colourful finish, top with a little frozen fruit zest.
