The Market is Moving

For the last few years or so, we’ve been helping Oddboxers stock up on loose refillables, store-cupboard staples and rescued items with The Market. It’s been a well-loved home for all these ingredients that aren’t fruit and veg, but still do good. 

Over the years, we’ve done some wonderful things with The Market. We’ve widened the range of plastic-free refillables to suit everyone’s kitchens, added a whole load of rescued goodies for you to choose from and stocked some delicious brands like All Dressed Up, Blanco Niño and Bold Bean Co. For scale, in 2025 alone, 12,994 Market boxes were delivered. That saved a whopping 260kg of plastic, which really is good food doing good. 

So, for some extra good news, The Market will soon be moving into your fruit & veg box, meaning you’ll be able to shop for everything in one place — just like you do with fresh add-ons. How nifty is that?

It just means that instead of having The Market separate from your Oddbox, it’ll all be in one delivery, making it a little simpler to live a low(er) waste life. The best part is that now there’ll be no minimum spend to stock up on these essentials. So when your Oddbox is en route, and you notice you’re low on lentils or pushing it with penne, you can add just one little item to your box. Of course, you can still make larger orders as before, when you need a real re-stock of your shelves. 

Things will remain as they are for this month, so it’ll be The Market just as you know it. Then from next month, you’ll be able to find it all within the app (or your account) for maximum ease. Still the same mission and products as before, just in a new home — now with no minimum order value and in your usual Oddbox.
