Spicy Melon Salsa with Lime & Jalapeno
This spicy salsa packs a real punch. Overflowing with flavour, it's great to enjoy with tortilla chips as a snack or a side.
Substitutes:
- No melon? Try with peach, nectarine or mango instead.
- No lime? Use lemon instead.

Ingredients:
1 melon (cantaloupe)
1 lime (juiced)
1 tbsp jalapeño
1 red onion
1 tsp olive oil
30 g coriander
salt (to taste)
tortilla chips (to serve)
Recipe:
Peel, deseed and dice the melon into small cubes, roughly 1cm big.
Finely chop the jalapeño, red onion and coriander.
Add the melon, jalapeño, red onion and coriander to a bowl. Add the olive oil and lime juice. Toss gently to mix and season to taste with salt.
Let it sit in the fridge for about 15–20 minutes so the flavours meld. Then dish up with tortilla chips, tacos or as a topping for grilled vegetables, and enjoy.
How to store
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
