Spiced Pineapple Crumble
A classic crumble with a twist exotic flavour!

Ingredients:
1 Pineapple
1 tsp Ground cinnamon
150 g Plain flour
20 g Caster sugar
140 g Unsalted butter
Ice cream (optional)
Recipe:
- Preheat the oven to 200C/180c fan/6 gas mark. Slice the top and bottom off the pineapple. Stand it upright on a work surface and carefully slice off the skin, cutting from top to bottom and working your way around. Cut the pineapple into quarters lengthways, then slice into 1 cm thick chunks.
- In a mixing bowl, mix together the pineapple chunks and cinnamon. Tip into a baking dish and set aside.
- Using the same mixing bowl, mix together the flour, caster sugar and butter with your fingertips, until pea-sized lumps form. Scatter the crumble over the pineapple and use your hands to even out the top. Bake for 40-50 minutes, or until the crumble is golden.
- Leave to stand for 10 minutes, then serve on its own or with ice cream, if you like.
How to store
Store in an airtight container, in the fridge, for up to 3 days.
