Spiced Orange Porridge

This seasonal spiced porridge will get you in the festive mood with its warming spices and bright citrus notes.

Substitutes: 

  • No oranges? Use clementines or satsumas instead.
  • No maple syrup? Use honey or agave syrup instead.
  • No pecans? Use any other nuts of your choice instead.

Ingredients:

65 g porridge oats

230 ml almond milk

1 orange

1 tsp mixed spice

1 tbsp maple syrup (or to taste)

5 pecan nuts

Recipe:

  1. Weigh out the oats in a small saucepan. Add the milk, mixed spice and a teaspoon of orange zest.

  2. Cook on a low heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring often, until the oats absorb the liquid.

  3. Pour your porridge into a bowl and top with orange slices, chopped nuts and a

    drizzle of maple syrup. Enjoy!
