Speedy Radish Snack

Simple and delicious, this is a perfect snack for a hot summer's day.

Ingredients:

10 radishes

2 tbsp unsalted butter (at room temperature)

sea salt (to taste)

Recipe:

  1. Wash your radishes, then trim the ends of any leaves.
  2. Cut each radish 6 times in a cross-hatch pattern across the top. Be careful not to cut the whole way through the radish.
  3. Plunge your radishes into ice-cold water and set aside in the fridge for a couple of hours. The longer they chill, the better they will open up. 
  4. Drain and pat dry, then serve with butter and sea salt. Enjoy.
